Government Relations

The  role of citizens representative will be inter-governmental relations, success will hinge upon the ability to make connections, find common ground, and to work together constructively when agreement is not automatic. With the pending federal legislation Bill C-53 recognizing our self governance and independence, it is critical that a Citizens Representative is able to form healthy relationships with our federal representatives from all parties. Provincial politics may be more polarized then ever, but our new Otipemisiwak government has to focus on non-partisan solutions that put people first. If elected, I will work collectively with all levels of government to find people focused solutions.
